Show Jumping is the competitive riding of horses over a set course of fences and obstacles in an arena in which the winner is judged according to ability and speed with penalty points for errors.
The Area 6 Mackey Show Jumping Classic qualifier will take place on Thursday 23rd August 2018 in Tubberbride Equestrian Centre, Sligo, starting at 6pm.

The 2019 Area 5 Jumps Ahead Competition, hosted by Muskerry Hunt Branch will take place on Sunday 19th May in Maryville Equestrian Centre and Saturday 22nd June in Kilguilkey House, Mallow. The final of the competition will be held at Cork Showgrounds on Saturday 13th July.
Kildare Hunt Branch will host a Spring Show Jumping Training League in Coilóg Equestrian Centre on 4 Friday evenings during April with the final on the 4th night (April 26th).
Congratulations to Irish Pony Club members, Elisa O'Connor from Sligo Hunt Branch and Jack Ryan from Kilkenny Hunt Branch who had an unforgettable week at the Army Equitation School in McKee Barracks last week (February 18th to 22nd).

The Mackey Show Jumping Classic Final will take place on Sunday 9th September 2018 in Coilóg Equestrian Centre, Kildare. The competition will begin at 10am with the 90cm class followed by the 1.00m, 1.10m and 1.20m.
