John Flood (Tetrathlon Chairman) and the Irish Pony Club Tetrathlon Committee would like to thank Bill Holmes and the Holmestead Saddlery Team for their generous sponsorship of the Holmestead Saddlery IPC Minimus Competition and the magnificent goodie packs that they presented to all competitors.
Bill and his staff helped to create a really special event this weekend and we are sincerely grateful for all the effort and time that they put into the competition.
We would also like to say thank you to the huge number of volunteers who worked so hard over the weekend at the Holmestead IPC Minimus Championships at Punchestown Racecourse. We would like to especially thank Sara Egan and Seán Sargent, Tetrathlon committee members and Kildare Hunt Branch members, who have worked tirelessly, not just this last weekend but over the past few weeks and months to organise this event. A word of thanks also to our course builders, Michelle Nelson and John Dillon, for creating an excellent cross country course.
From Friday afternoon volunteers assisted with parking, camping and stabling, ably led by Tanya Doyle and Kildare Hunt Branch members. Thank you for all of your support and assistance. On Saturday the cross-country competition would not have been possible without the many fence judges, warm-up, call-up and tack personnel, starters and timers who helped. On Sunday, again a sincere thank you to the many volunteers who helped ensure the swimming and running phases ran smoothly. To the officials, parents and members of the Kildare Hunt Branch who kept everyone topped up with lots of water and food during the day - thank you. Finally, as Barbara Micks (IPC Executive Chairman) stated during the prize giving presentation on Sunday, thank you to everyone who participated in creating this successful event, not forgetting the IPC office staff, Jane, Christina, Tara and Catherine.
A huge big thank you to all involved, too numerous to mention.
