The results for the Pony Club International Virtual dressage show (PCIA) have been published. Dressage teams from all over the world took part: Ireland, UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Canada, USA, Singapore, New Zealand, Cayman Islands and South Africa.

The IPC members did brilliantly against very strong competition!

In class 1A (USDF Training level, ages 14y and under) , the Kildare Hunt Branch team of Sophie McEvoy, Alexandra Butler, Alex Short and Georgina Keogh was placed 4th. Sophie McEvoy was 5th as an individual in class 1A, and Alexandra Butler was 6th.

Darragh Whyte from the Newcastle Lyons Branch was included in an International Europe team in class 1A, and was second as an individual in that class, which is great result!  Kate Moore from the Kildare Hunt Branch was also included in that International Europe team along with two UK PC riders and that International Europe team placed first in Class 1A.

In class 2B (USDF First level, ages 18y and under), the Kildare Hunt team of Ella Butler, Andrew Moore, Lucy Maughan and Jamie Maughan placed second, which is a fantastic result!  Ella Butler was first as an individual in class 2B, which is an amazing result, and Andrew Moore was 5th in that class.

Our members deserve huge congratulations for their great performance in this International dressage competition; they are a credit to the Irish Pony Club and their trainers, and should be very proud of themselves!
