FERRY INFO

The sailing the lorries will be booked on is detailed below.

An event/discounted fare for jeeps and cars travelling with the Mounted Games group has been arranged with Stena.

The discounted fare for 2 adults, 1 child + car is €234 (compared to €296 regular fare).

Parents must book their own games child on the ferry as they cannot be booked with the ponies.

The lorries go as freight and are a separate booking.

Here is the info you need to avail of special IPC rate:

Log onto www.stenaline.ie/event

Log in using the first name: PONY surname: CLUB and event code: SE115.

Stena advise to book early to ensure availability though 12 spaces are reserved for above rate and may be added to if necessary

HOTEL INFO

(Tues. 16th Feb)One of the parents reports having difficulty booking Travelodge on line. She finally got to speak to them and they were very helpful. They said they were having some problems with on-line booking. There is availability though it wasn't showing on-line. Here is the phone number if you need to speak to them:

Recommended hotel from group who travelled last year is Travelodge Hotel, Wrexham. It is only about 7 minutes from the games venue. There is a Little Chef nearby for breakfast and she said it suited them ideally. There is also a large Sainsbury's and a petrol station beside it.

Room rates appear to be about £50 per night for family room that sleeps three. There are about 30 rooms at the hotel.

We will be arriving on Friday 2nd April and departing Monday 5th April, so three nights accommodation.
