Mounted Games in Scotland
The two teams that were selected to travel to Wales at Easter, instead went to Turnberry in Scotland, as the Wales competition had been cancelled. Both teams played brilliantly with John Driver's team placing 3rd and Willie Whelan's team placing 4th. There were two days of strong competition, but the weather was absolutely brilliant and the Scottish hosts, the Eglington Branch of the Pony Club, made everyone very welcome.

Laois Under 11 Games Team travel to Northern Ireland!
Pictured are the the Laois Under 11 team that travelled to Northern Ireland and competed on 17th and 18th April.
These children were just fantastic and came second on both days of competition and made their trainer Eilidh Hyland and their parents very proud of their achievements, considering two of the members are only 8 years old.
As runners up at the IPC festival last year, they were invited to travel to Wales at Easter, but this was cancelled so they travelled to the Northern Ireland to make good use of all their practice! The players and their families would like to acknowledge the fantastic welcome given by the organisers of these games and the hospitality afforded to them was just wonderful.
Pictured on their ponies are Callum, Ian, Sadie, Daragh and Izzie (East Galway branch) with trainer Eilidh.
