A, H & B+ TESTS 2012

Application forms for the above Tests are available through your D.C.

They must be filled in completely and returned to HQ with a non-refundable deposit of €20.00. Information will then be sent to each candidate by post.

It is essential that an email address is supplied as all further information will be sent to each candidate by email. Mobile phone number of candidate is also required.

PONY CLUB UK ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2012 IN BELFAST

Whilst our own IPC Conference will be held in Tullamore on 31st March, there is an opportunity for you to also attend the UK Pony Club's Annual Conference this year, as it is being held at Belfast Waterfront on Wednesday 7th March.

Northern Ireland is Area 17 of The Pony Club UK and they are delighted to be hosting the conference in 2012. It is hoped that many representatives from the Irish Pony Club will take the opportunity to attend this conference as it's on this side of the Irish Sea.

There is a full and varied line up of presentations and speakers for the day which will be expertly compered by Mike Tucker.

Please note the closing date for applications is Friday 10 February.

NEW DC/OFFICER TRAINING DATES

Training Dates have been arranged for 2012. It is essential that all Officers in your Branch, particularly new Officers, attend one of the Training Days even if they have attended in the past. There is always something new to be learned and useful and informative discussions take place between Officers from other Branches. See FLYER

Any Officer or committee member may attend at any of the venues on this FLYER, not just the venue in their area.

If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact HQ.

It is essential to book in, as we will require numbers on the night for the hotel.

Lisgarvan House, Ballon, Co. Carlow (by kind permission of the Corrigan family)

Minimus - 23rd and 24th June - Kilguilky House, Cecilstown, Mallow, Co. Cork

Festival - 31st July, 1st, 2nd August - Barnadown Showjumping, Co. Wexford

Tetrathlon - 11th and 12th August - Venue to be decided

Horse Trials Championships - 21st and 22nd August - Tattersalls, Ratoath, Co. Meath

Info: The Lillingston Cup and the Carroll Trophy are awarded to the branches that were most successful in the various national competitions throughout the year. The Carroll Trophy is awarded to branches with less than 60 members and points for this are also awarded for participation. Points are allocated according to placings and details of allocation are in the Points System Table, see link above.

Please encourage all your Committee members and particularly Instructors to attend these courses. Members should please note that if competing in any activity in Northern Ireland, which is Area 17 of The Pony Club UK, you must enter through your D.C. You cannot enter competitions directly.
